PRESTEIGNE HOME OF THE FREE

A joyful tribute to Welsh childhood, community and play

For my final collection at CSM, I reimagined memories of growing up in Wales through vibrant print, sculptural design and childhood storytelling. Titled Presteigne Home of the Free, the collection pays homage to small communities, slow living and the skills passed down through family and local tradition - from quilt making to creating costumes for the panto. Playful, colourful and full of childlike wonder, my work celebrates the pleasure of making together and the stories that shape where we come from.
